A post on Twitter by a Celtic fan page has got a lot of the Hoops fanbase talking about former player Chris Morris and his career at the club.

The defender signed for the Scottish side in 1987, and managed to make 199 appearances for the club before leaving in 1992, per thecelticwiki. He enjoyed a great career at Paradise, scoring nine goals along the way as well as picking up two Scottish Cup titles and one league trophy.

He also had a great period in international football as he made 35 appearances for Ireland, including the 1990 World Cup where he was part of the historic side that made their debut in the renowned tournament, via soccer-ireland.

He will be remembered fondly by fans of the Celts and by many future generations as he was part of the club's centenary squad. He holds the very impressive statistic of being the only player who took park in all of the side's 55 competitive fixtures during the centenary season, per thecelticwiki.
