Celtic: Fans hopeful that Fraser Forster will stay at the club

A lot of Celtic fans have flooded to social media in the hope of convincing the club to sign Fraser Forster on a permanent deal following a post on Twitter talking about the Englishman doing a Q&A.
The goalkeeper has had a great season in Scotland so far, playing 28 games and keeping 14 clean sheets, whilst only conceding 17 goals, via Transfermarkt. His performances have got fans begging for him to stay and his statistics highlight why they have loved him so much this campaign.
Forster is no stranger to the club, as he used to play for the Hoops until he moved to Southampton in 2014 for around £11.25 million, via Transfermarkt. His spell in England started well, with him gaining an international call up, but recently he was unfavoured by manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, so he went back to Scotland on loan to reignite his career last summer. He is currently valued at around £5.85 million on Transfermarkt.
Clearly the move has worked for both the 32 year-old and the club, with his great performance in the Scottish League Cup final against arch-rivals Rangers highlighting this, per The Guardian. Celtic were down to ten men but Steven Gerrard’s side couldn’t get past the goalkeeper, who kept a clean sheet in the 1-0 victory whilst also saving a penalty from Alfredo Morelos when the game was still 0-0.
Here is what fans said about the player, with loads wanting him to sign permanently:

He has to be a priority signing. He wants to stay which should help pave the way for this to happen.
