A number of Celtic fans have been sharing their views on former player, Paul Hartley, after an image of him was shared on Twitter.

St. Anthony posted the photo on the social media platform and stated that he felt the midfielder was utilised wrongly by Gordon Strachan and that the Hoops never got to see the best out of him during his time at the club.

According to Celtic database, The Celtic Wiki, Hartley only stayed at Parkhead for a little over two years before his contract expired and subsequently joined Bristol City on a free transfer.

However, during his time in Glasgow, the former midfielder managed to make a respectable 86 appearances for the Bhoys, in which he managed to bag himself just four goals (The Celtic Wiki).

Therefore, perhaps, St. Anthony has a point about not seeing the best from the middleman, although some of the club's faithful would appear to respectfully disagree.

Many suggested that he helped the Hoops to win the league when partnered with Barry Robson in the middle whilst another had felt he was their best player against Barcelona when in Champions League action.

Here are what just a few of them had to say...
