Celtic: Fans react as Hoops linked with Shon Weissman transfer

A lot of Celtic fans have been discussing the latest transfer news surrounding the club as Israel striker Shon Weissman is supposedly being lined up as a replacement for Odsonne should he leave in the summer, according to The Telegraph.
Weissman currently plays for Bundesliga side Wolfsberger AC in Austria and clearly has an eye for the net as he has managed 29 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions including the UEFA Europa League, per Transfermarkt.
He seems like a very good option for the Hoops to be monitoring but understandably a lot of Celtic fans only want him to join the club if he is to be a backup option to Edouard in the squad with the Frenchman staying.
Clearly many Hoops fans don’t want to lose their top scorer and any player who is unproven in the SPFL would currently seem like a downgrade on Edouard.
Here is what these Celtic fans had to say following the tweet:
Celtic will consider a move for Israel striker Shon Weissman should they lose Odsonne Edouard – according to The Telegraph.

Get him in even if Edouard stays

Get him in anyway we need a solid 3rd striker and Eddie will leave next season anyway so it would give him time to settle

Not a bad return to be fair, Why not bring him in to play with Edouard & Griffiths like we did with Eddy when we had Dembele who we knew would be off sooner rather than later.

His scoring record is incredible but remember we signed Klimala in Jan who needs a chance too?
