Celtic: Some Hoops fans talk about club update

Some Celtic fans have been left talking about the latest club update that Celtic have issued on social media.
The Hoops Twitter account recently relayed the information that the Herald newspaper has apologised to the club for ‘serious misrepresentation’ of the Parkhead-based side. The statement from the club said that the newspaper had published about how Celtic ‘cutting non-playing staff’s money shows how far football has lost its soul’.
Should Celtic ban the Herald from operations at the club?
Yes, they're awful

No, keep them around

Quite recently, Celtic had furloughed non-playing staff at the club. But they had committed to paying them their full wages once the ongoing pandemic problems end. They had also stated that they will be using the government job retention scheme available to the club.
But the statement that the Hoops have released says that the Herald had portrayed this action as a negative stance. The statement also clarifies that the non-playing staff are still being paid in full through the job retention scheme.
This shows that the Herald were wrong in what they wrote and it was a case of them not portraying facts in the right way. Celtic were right to get them to apologise for what they wrote.
When the club’s Twitter account relayed this information, many Celtic fans slammed the newspaper for their acts.
but follow it up and ban them… we dont need any mainstream newspapers.. they are a soon be extinct, group of charlatans!
