Rangers: Fans excited as loan link to Billy Gilmour emerges

Many Glasgow Rangers fans have been sharing their excitement over a report from The Scottish Sun which claims that Steven Gerrard’s club are interested in making a January loan move that would see Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour move to Ibrox, after the article was relayed on Twitter by @scotsunsport.
Gilmour played for Rangers previously at youth level before making a £531,000 move to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2017.
It may be fair to say that the 19-year-old Scotsman has impressed in his 13 first-team appearances for The Blues so far, with Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane stating that he “looked like a world-class player” in one particular performance for Frank Lampard’s side earlier this year.
Despite that, he has made just two senior appearances this season due to injury and now, it has been claimed that the Gers are interested in bringing him back to Ibrox on loan, with Chelsea also said to be open to this potential move to help him get regular game time.
So, how did these Rangers fans react to this report linking their club with a loan move for Gilmour?
Many Gers supporters have been buzzing over this claim that their club is interested in bringing Gilmour back to Ibrox on loan.
