Rangers: Fans slam Ryan Jack’s display in victory over Celtic
Lots of Rangers fans were left disappointed by on aspect of Sunday’s memorable Old Firm victory, as Ryan Jack produced one of his worst performances of the season.
Steven Gerrard took another step towards cementing himself as an Ibrox icon on Sunday, bringing his side within two points of Celtic.
The Gers of course have a game in hand, meaning the title is now technically in their hands, although there will likely be plenty of twists and turns yet this campaign.
Borna Barisic was perhaps the standout performer on the day with two fantastic assists, while Ryan Kent is making a habit of scoring against the Hoops.
Fans were unimpressed by Jack though, who until this weekend had been one of Gerrard’s finest players throughout his time at the club – he has already racked up 30 appearances and over 2,500 minutes played this season after making 46 showings last campaign, so is clearly a favourite of the boss.
The 27 year-old did improve in the second half, but he was extremely wasteful before the break, giving the ball away in the build-up to Celtic’s penalty and failing to clear the ball before Odsonne Edouard’s goal.

Ryan Jack having a poor game so far. It was Jack at fault for giving away the ball which lead to the corner that resulted in the penalty. Jack could have cleared the ball before their equaliser.
