# ‘Sell and move on’ – Everton fans react to latest player news

**Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see what Ronald Koeman can do for their side when it comes to transfers in the window.**

The Toffees have gone well this season and it has led them to securing Europa League football for the new campaign.

What they need to do now, then, is sign extra players to help them compete in both Europe and the league but whilst we wait to see what happens there, the future of Ross Barkley appears up in the air.

Indeed, Ronald Koeman has revealed that the midfielder has a week to decide whether he wants to be at the club or not in terms of signing a new deal and if he doesn’t pen a contract by then he will be let go – via [BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39886112).

Fans, then, were always going to react to this and so here is the best of the reaction on Twitter:

> [@grandoldteam](https://twitter.com/grandoldteam) [@RBarkley20](https://twitter.com/RBarkley20) [@Everton](https://twitter.com/Everton) We won’t win trophies while Ross and rom are leading our attack .. not consistent enough to be top drawer players . Sell and move on .

> As much as I love Ross Barkley, if he thinks he will get in that Tottenham team he is sadly mistaken.[#EFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/EFC?src=hash)

> I’ll be gutted if Ross Barkley leaves. Hope he decides to stay, but if he does leave, he doesn’t deserve any abuse. He’s done nothing wrong.

> [@EvertonBlueArmy](https://twitter.com/EvertonBlueArmy) Nobody is giving him any abuse that I’ve seen. Just don’t think the majority are that fussed if he stays or goes.
