AC Milan have shown an interest in signing Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana, as reported by Calciomarcato.
This comes after Football Insider reported that Liverpool could be set to sell the England international, while Lazio are also supposedly showing an interest in the 31-year-old.
The report claims that Lallana’s experience will be of use to the young Milan team, with the club aiming to bring in new faces in January.
Lallana has struggled for game time this campaign, starting 1 Carabao Cup game and coming on as a substitute thrice in the Premier League, as per WhoScored, amassing just 11 minutes of time on the pitch in the league.
This follows a season in which he only managed to start 5 league games, coming on as a substitute on 8 occasions, with these struggles for game time following a campaign in which he missed 32 games through injury, as per Transfermarkt.
Despite his recent struggles, this is still a player who has 34 caps for England, having also won the Champions League.
It would be a risk for Milan to make a move for Lallana, due to the lack of game time he has had in recent years, as well as all the injuries.
However, if the club is able to keep him fit, then he could be an asset, using his technical ability and experience to help out moving forward.
