Clubs are beginning to circle around Internazionale striker Lautaro Martinez, as reported by The Daily Star.
They indicated that Barcelona are eyeing the Argentinian as a replacement for Luis Suarez, while citing Clarin, who suggested that Manchester United are interested in signing him.
The 22-year-old is said to have a release clause of €96m (£82.9m), so it is imagined that any proposed suitor would have to match this when his age and season’s form are considered.
Martinez has made 11 starts and two substitute appearances across the Champions League and Serie A this campaign, scoring seven goals and assisting another along the way, as per WhoScored.
Notably, his tally for the campaign already includes goals against Barcelona, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, showing that he is able to produce on the biggest stages and occasions.
Losing Martinez would be a massive blow for Inter, due to how prolific he has been this campaign in striking up a brilliant partnership with Romelu Lukaku.
This would be made even worse if it was to happen in January, as it would likely have a large impact on the club’s pursuit of winning their first Scudetto since 2009/10.
