Internazionale loan watch: Radja Nainggolan, Mauro Icardi and Joao Mario were all amongst the goals

In our Loan Watch feature series, the Football Transfer Tavern takes a look at how a selection of players from a particular club are faring whilst they are away from their parent side, and provide a brief update regarding their form.

Here are reports on a trio of Internazionale players out on loan, as they got three goals and an assist between them for their respective loan clubs.

Radja Nainggolan – Cagliari

Radja Nainggolan got the first goal of his loan spell with Cagliari in the ninth minute of their 2-0 win against SPAL and he did it in incredible fashion.

With a free-kick having been unconvincingly headed clear, the Belgium international chested it down and as it bounced, rifled it right into the top corner from outside of the box, as shown in the highlights video on the Serie A YouTube channel.

This result keeps up a six-game unbeaten run in the league, that sees Cagliari move into fifth in the Serie A table.

Mauro Icardi – Paris Saint Germain

Mauro Icardi got a goal and assist for Paris Saint Germain, as they went on to beat Nice 4-1 to stay five points clear at the top of Ligue 1.

The Argentinian set up the first of the night, when he beat Dante to a pass upfield and played a first-time pass to his compatriot Angel Di Maria, who then ran forward with the ball at his feet and slotted it past Walter Benitez, as shown in the highlights video on the BT Sport YouTube channel.

Having assisted the first of the night, Icardi went on to score the last, as he finished off a sweeping move, tapping the ball in at the back post.

Joao Mario – Lokomotiv Moscow

Having already got four assists during his first seven games on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow, Joao Mario scored the first goal of his spell to help his temporary side on their way to a 2-0 victory.

With the score at 1-0 in the 86th minute, Evgeni Gorodov had rushed out to shut down Dmitri Zhivogyadov, but the full-back lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper’s head, setting up an easy finish for the Portuguese midfielder, as shown in the highlights video on the Russian Premier Liga YouTube channel.

This result keeps Lokomotiv top of the league, though they are still level on points with Zenit St. Petersburg.
