Juventus: Fans discuss potential position change for Douglas Costa in Champions League tie

Many Juventus fans have had their say on Twitter about rumours that Brazilian winger Douglas Costa could be used in a new role by Maurizio Sarri.
According to the fan account @ForzaJuve2017, the 29-year-old could play in behind the strikers in a ‘trequartista’ role against Lokomotiv – a position he allegedly used to play in for Shakhtar Donetsk.
The versatile midfielder has struggled for first-team football this season in what is a congested Juventus squad. Costa has started just three games in the league, as well as making one substitute appearance, but more impressively has managed to register two assists.
Overall, he has a WhoScored average rating of 6.98/10 – the eighth-highest in the squad.
Many fans have responded to the tweet, with a variety of responses. A few think that this could be a good idea from Sarri, as long as it keeps Federico Bernardeschi out of the squad.
Bernardeschi hasn’t had the greatest of campaigns so far, playing nine times and averaging just 6.35/10, without grabbing a goal or an assist.
Here is what Juventus fans had to say:
Whatever keeps Bernadeschi on the bench
