Many Juventus fans have criticised Sami Khedira after Juventus’ 2-0 win over Spal on the weekend.
Can Paulo Dybala win over Maurizio Sarri at Juventus this season?
Juve have maintained their unbeaten record after the first six matches, but remain second in the league with Inter having won every single match so far.
Even though Khedira shared just a routine message after an important win versus Spal, it didn’t prevent fans from getting on his back and giving him criticism.
It wasn’t a terrible performance from the German by any means – though he did have the lowest rating out of all of the Juve starters – having a match rating of 6.6/10 (WhoScored), and also having an assist. Khedira was replaced on 61 minutes by Emre Can with the side 1-0 thanks to a Miralem Pjanic screamer; Cristiano Ronaldo doubled the lead with 12 minutes to go.
Khedira hasn’t had the most fantastic of starts to this campaign – he currently averages 6.56 from his six games, the 17th highest in the team, according to WhoScored.
