Juventus: Fans impressed by Aaron Ramsey return in Turin derby victory

Juventus claimed victory in the Turin derby on Saturday, beating Torino 1-0 thanks to a goal from Matthijs de Ligt with 20 minutes to go. They stay one point above Inter Milan after 11 games in Serie A, and Aaron Ramsey has played his part in keeping the Italian champions at the top of the table.

He’s missed the last four games due to injury, but he’s started three times and made two substitute appearances in the league this season, scoring one goal in the process. He came off the bench at the weekend with 23 minutes to play and Juventus fan website Juve FC praised him after the game, saying he “made some great runs, smartly timed and had a chance to kill the game off, but for more Sirigu [Turin goalkeeper] heroics”.

The 28-year-old took to Twitter after the game to show how pleased he was with the victory, saying what translates to: “the Derby della Mole is black and white. Big win boys”. Fans passed on their messages of support in the replies, showing appreciation for his performance and return from injury.
