Many Juve fans have discussed the future of Merih Demiral after it was reported that the club have no intention of selling the defender despite interest in him.
Dean Jones, a reporter for Bleacher Report, wrote on Twitter last week that the defender would be open to leaving the club if he can’t break into the first team.
Juventus fan account on Twitter, @ForzaJuve2017, has said that Demiral has been on the receiving end of many requests, but the Old Lady have no interest in parting with the defender, referencing @TUTTOJUVE_COM.
Unfortunately for Demiral, he is probably going to be struggling to get his way into that first-team with so many other options to play at centre half for Juve right now. Leonardo Bonucci, Matthijs de Ligt and Daniele Rugani – as well as the injured Giorgio Chiellini – are all competing for two spots, which has meant he has just been able to get one start this season in Serie A (WhoScored).
Many Juve fans have told the club to put up or shut up, saying that if they have no intention of letting him go, then they should play him.
Here are some of the replies below…
Then put him sometimes on the field…….
