It was another winning weekend for Internazionale, as they beat Udinese 1-0, in the latest instalment of Loan Watch, we look at some of the successes their other players who weren’t involved that evening had.
Mauro Icardi – Paris Saint Germain
Mauro Icardi replaced Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in the 63rd minute of Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg to make his debut for the French champions, as per WhoScored.
He took 2 shots, 1 of which was blocked, while the other was on target and completed all of the passes he attempted after coming on.
PSG stole the win in the 91st minute, with Neymar meeting Abdou Diallo’s cross with an acrobatic effort that went in off the post.
Gabriel Barbosa -Flamengo
Gabriel Barbosa, otherwise known as Gabigol, has had a pretty incredible goal return at Flamengo this season, having scored 16 goals and assisted four in 15 Brazilian Serie A games, as per Transfermarkt.
He continued that run on Saturday against Santos, scoring the only goal of the game in superb fashion, cutting across his defender and dinking the ball over the goalkeeper, off the crossbar and into the net from outside the box, as shown in a YouTube video from Aquie E Futbol.
This result means that Flamengo are five points clear at the top of the table with 19 games gone.
Dalbert – Fiorentina
Dalbert made his first start on loan at Fiorentina as they helped Inter out by holding Juventus to a 0-0 draw, as per WhoScored.
Throughout the game, he made 2 tackles, won 1 aerial duel, took 3 shots and made 1 key pass, while completing 1 dribble and 78% of the passes he attempted.
