# Sheffield United: Callum Robinson unsure on his future

**Sheffield United striker Callum Robinson spent the [second half](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/callum-robinson/profil/spieler/183299) of the 19/20 season on loan at Championship side West Bromwich Albion. He has thoroughly enjoyed his spell as he helped the Baggies get [promoted](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jul/23/the-hard-work-starts-here-promoted-west-brom-focus-on-premier-league) to the Premier League, but it still seems uncertain whether he will return to the Blades or move on in the summer.**

Speaking after the QPR game, via [Sheffield Star](https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-united/callum-robinson-admits-uncertain-sheffield-united-future-after-west-bromwich-albions-premier-league-promotion-2921975), the forward said: “The plan is that my team is Sheffield United but I’ve got to wait what happens.

“In the summer, in my head, I will go back to Sheffield United. The lads have been doing it from August time, I have just been here since January. I’ve just tried my best and committed. I’m just happy we got the job done.”

For Sheffield United in the Premier League, Robinson played 16 times, and scored once whilst picking up two assists, per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/callum-robinson/profil/spieler/183299). Following his move to the division below, the striker played a further 16 games, scoring three times and picking up two assists.

It hasn’t been the best goalscoring season for the 25 year-old at either level and recently when speaking about players at his club, Chris Wilder said that some could [leave](https://www.sheffieldunited.news/news/wilder-admits-some-sheffield-united-players-having-contract-negotiations-might-leave/) in the summer, so if he is looking at his [forwards](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/163/Show/England-Sheffield-United) and their goals scored, Robinson could be one of the ones on the way out.

It could be a good thing for the Blades if the Baggies were impressed by his displays, as they then might look to purchase him, and with [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/callum-robinson/profil/spieler/183299) valuing him at £4.55 million, Wilder could get some much needed funds to improve his starting eleven.
