Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp clearly has his future plans in mind as he has added an Instagram post detailing a new football academy that he will be opening.
His latest plans should definitely put a smile on Blades supporters faces as his Instagram post showed a blooper reel of him repeatedly botching his announcement of the opening of the ‘Billy Sharp Football Academy’, which will be in operation soon.
The 34-year-old has seen it all with the Blades as he has played with them in League One, the Championship and now in the Premier League, in which he is part of a team doing the unthinkable as they are battling for a Europa League spot.
Sharp has a fine scoring record in his 263 games for the club, bagging 106 goals whilst also registering 33 assists, per Transfermarkt, and in their recent friendlies to get the players prepared for the return of the Premier League, he has been among the goals.
The academy will be running one-to-one and small coaching groups and there is no doubt that many will be signing up as soon as they can, given the striker’s legend status at Sheffield United.
