Sheffield United and Wolves have been linked to Alhassan Yusuf in the past and the Blades will be happy to see a positive update surrounding the future of the player after IFK Goteborg set a small price tag on the midfielder.
Yusuf has already made 31 appearances for his club this season, scoring two goals and providing five assists, per Transfermarkt.
Yusuf fits the current criteria that the Blades appear to be seeking at the moment, which is a player who seems to boast large potential. Chris Wilder clearly rates the current starting XI he has mainly used this season, with nine players clocking more than 2,000 minutes of game-time, and he is justified in doing so as the Blades lie seventh in the Premier League.
Sheffield United have lost two and drawn one of their three games since the Premier League resumed and did not score once in that time, thus highlighting the need for greater squad depth.
The central midfielder is just 19 and his goal involvement figures suggest that he could be a valuable contributor to the Blades’ attack while also bolstering their midfield. For such a low price, he would be a very tidy signing.
