Sheffield Wednesday: Fans react as club likely to find out outcome of EFL misconduct charge later this week

Sheffield Wednesday fans are reacting to quite a big update in regards to when they will find out the outcome of their EFL misconduct charge.
Journliast Rob Staton, who represents BBC Yorkshire, tweeted out an image which shows exactly when the club will find out the outcome, supported with the caption, “From @sistoney67 — Sheffield Wednesday are likely to get a decision on their EFL misconduct charge later this week. #SWFC“
Back in November 2019, the Owls were charged by the EFL due to the way in which they sold their stadium to Dejphon Chansiri, per BBC Sport. The owner bought Hillsborough for around £60 million at a time that they were struggling financially and due to the sale, they recorded a profit of around £2.5m for 2017-18.
If found guilty, they could be hit with a fine or a points deduction, and they may finally find out the outcome at the end of this week.
Here is what fans have said following the news, with many naturally unhappy as it could have dire consequences for the club.

Total shambles how they handled this & fundamentally unfair to Wednesday in my opinion. How they couldn’t get this all concluded during the break from football is beyond me. Very poor and creates tremendous uncertainty throughout the entire league system – especially if appealed.

All this seems crazy , cant understand why it cant be announced one way or other swfc fans want to know and im sure other @EFL clubs/fans would like to know if a case They stay up due to a pts deductions

So essentially the decision to relegate us with a points deduction will effectively happen after the end of the season given the fact we will almost certainly appeal the decision.
Not only us its leaves in limbo.
EFL are absolute clowns

So whatever the decision an appeal will go in that will go past end of season anyway. Pointless statement

Absolutely bonkers this is still going on with zero clarity when and what might happen from everyone involved.

It’s absolutely ridiculous that we still don’t know at this stage of the season
