Sheffield Wednesday will hope to pick up some points at Hillsborough tomorrow as they prepare to host Preston North End.
The Owls haven’t taken to the Championship restart as they would have liked, winning just one of their four games played since the league resumed. Their most recent fixture was an outing to the Liberty Stadium where they suffered a 2-1 loss to Swansea City.
Should Sheffield Wednesday keep or sell Moses Odubajo?
Dom Howson has given his thoughts ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Preston and thinks forward Atdhe Nuhiu should start the match. However, a lot of fans are in disagreement with this take and don’t want the 30-year-old anywhere near the starting XI. One supporter has commented saying he “under no circumstances should start another game of football again for us”.
Nuhiu has scored just four goals in 33 Championship appearances this season and has a total of 48 goals in 272 appearances with the club (via Transfermarkt). With a poor goalscoring return and the Owls in need of points, it’s understandable why fans don’t want to see the Kosovo international start tomorrow.
He can’t play from the start. He’s only effective for 10/15 minutes at the end of the where he can come on and cause havoc. He simply hasn’t got the fitness to do anything more. Under no circumstances should start another game of football again for us

I really don’t care anymore. Makes no difference who plays. If we actually peppered the opposing teams box with crosses he could be a good shout but we dont. Never known a team emphasis play down the wings as much as us, yet put so few crosses in.

Relying on Nuhiu keep us up hahaha. UP THE OWLS

That will cause us problems. Preston will just push up high and squeeze us. The midfield isnt good enough for Nuhui and Wickham to both play.

Absolutely not Dom, the sooner he leaves the better.
