It seems like there will be a lot of changes at Sheffield Wednesday as they prepare for the 2020/21 Championship campaign.
However it seems like it won’t just be the players involved in a reshuffle at Hillsborough as Dom Howson reported that the club have lost first-team strength and conditioning coach Luke Cooper.
Cooper has left the Owls to join MLS side New York City where he will be the Head of Sports Science at the club, via Yorkshire Live, and with him departing the club will probably have to find a replacement sooner rather than later.
The new season will start on the weekend of the 12th September which is just over a month away, and with pre-season near, they will need someone to step in soon so that the squad can have a lot of pre-season time with the new coach.

Disappointing to see staff levels drop even further, but it’s hard not to see it as a big step up to be involved in the Manchester City group – could transfer to them in the future like other NYCFC employees have.
