Sheffield Wednesday reporter Joe Crann has shared an injury update on defender Reece James before the club’s showdown against Plymouth Argyle.

The Owls go into this afternoon’s meeting with Argyle knowing a win will take them to the top of the League One standings. Darren Moore’s side have won their last five league games and have both a greater goal difference and a game in hand on their opponents.

Crann relayed comments from Moore’s pre-Plymouth press conference on Twitter, confirming there are no new injury concerns.
He added however that ‘Wednesday hope’ to have James back in the ‘next couple of weeks’.

James has been labelled as ‘superb’ by Moore and has made 23 appearances in all competitions for Wednesday, registering three assists.
