This is a big boost for Wednesday, enhancing their squad depth greatly ahead of the business end of the season and giving Moore plenty of options in various areas.

Granted, none of James, Gregory and Hunt are necessarily guaranteed starters - they have started 33 league games between them this season - but they can all contribute positively when they play.

Gregory's influence could be particularly great at key moments in these final 16 matches this season, having scored 21 goals in 68 appearances for Wednesday, and he can ease the attacking burden on Josh Windass and Michael Smith.

Meanwhile, James and Hunt can also be important defensive players, with the former a great option at right wing-back and the latter playing at both centre-back and in a left-sided role this season.
