Sheffield Wednesday: Fans react as Owls are linked with Korede Adedoyin

Sheffield Wednesday have already looked towards the young stars in the academy ranks of the Premier League sides as they have signed Fisayo Dele-Bashiru from Manchester City.
It looks like this could be a common theme for them in this transfer window as they are now linked with 19-year-old Korede Adedoyin, who recently became a free agent after leaving Everton.
The Star journalist Joe Crann broke the news on Twitter as he said that the Owls have shown a real interest in the player, but he has also stated there are various clubs interested in the attacker.
The winger has an excellent record in the Everton under-18 side as he scored 26 goals whilst also supplying four assists in 51 appearances, per Transfermarkt. He then looked to get some experience last season in Scotland as he joined Hamilton Academical on loan, but only made one appearance for their reserves in the Challenge Cup.
Despite this, his statistics at Everton look promising, and with the Owls being able to sign him on a free transfer, it is a punt worth taking to acquire the player.
Here is what these Sheffield Wednesday fans said following the news from Crann:

It’s good we are being linked with these young players. Only concern is we don’t know if they are up to the job, we are going to need some experience up top as well.

Vardy wasn’t great for us.Leicester gambled correctly.Players mature at different times. These are the kind of signings a club going in the right direction make.SWFC have come under criticism lately and rightly so but last few bits of business and coaching additions show progress

We will have created a lot of space on our wage bill recently so we can afford to give lads like this a go. Remember Brunt and Whelan, let go by Boro and Man City. Give me this lad over George Boyd

I like the sound of this.
