Sheffield Wednesday: Fans delighted as Josh Windass announces short-term loan extension

Josh Windass has announced he will be staying on with Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season after signing a miniature extension.
The versatile midfielder joined the club on loan from Wigan in January and will now ensure he sees out the rest of the term with the Owls. Since his arrival, he has scored two goals in four Championship appearances (via Transfermarkt).
No talks of a permanent deal have been discussed as of yet, meaning Windass will become one of a potential 15 to depart from Hillsborough as free agents this summer. A lot of Wednesdayites however want to see the 26-year-old stay with the club permanently and are delighted to see him pen a mini extension.
