Sheffield Wednesday: Fans react to transfer update on Dion Sanderson
Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly still keen on bringing more players to the club in this transfer window, and this has seen them linked with Wolves defender Dion Sanderson, who was on loan at Cardiff City last season.
According to journalist Dom Howson, the Owls are still keeping close tabs on Sanderson, who is in the final year of his Wolves contract.
The player was a solid asset for the Wales-based side as he averaged 1.2 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 2.1 clearances per game, via WhoScored, in 10 Championship appearances last season; and at the tender age of 20, he is showing that he has the potential to grow into a quality centre-back.
He is yet to play for Wolves this season, and with him into the final year of his contract, that could see Sheffield Wednesday get a very good deal for the player if they want him sooner rather than later.

Might be being a bit thick here, but why would Sanderson be an equal replacement for Murphy, a CD for a winger.
