# Silva wants to add impressive England international to Everton squad with loan deal possible – report

**Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern will want to see improvements made to their side this summer following a poor campaign last season.**

Marco Silva was appointed as the new manager at Goodison Park to replace Sam Allardyce and it is believed he will want to make a number of changes to the team to ensure they are at the right end of the table.

The Portuguese boss is expected to offload a number of his squad, with the club having far too many players on the wage bill, although he will want to strengthen it with additions as well, and according to a report, he could be prepared to venture into the loan market.

[The Daily Mirror are claiming the Toffees could be prepared to make a temporary move for Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/everton-boss-marco-silva-plots-12777388). The England midfielder, who has been quietly impressing at the World Cup, is thought to be available for another loan move and Silva believes he can help Everton turn into a top-six side.

### Landlord’s Verdict

The Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern would be delighted to see the Chelsea midfielder arrive on Merseyside this summer. The 22-year-old is expected to have a bright future in the game following his recent spell with Crystal Palace and England, and would definitely add to Everton’s middle.
