# Southampton: Fans react to Che Adams injury

**Southampton striker Che Adams will miss Saturday’s game with Leeds United on Saturday afternoon, Ralph Hasenhuttl [confirmed](https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2021-10-14/team-news-southampton-vs-leeds-premier-league-202122).**

And, as to be expected, a number of Saints fans were quick to give their thoughts to the confirmed news on social media.

Adams featured for Scotland during the international break but picked up a [muscle](https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2021-10-14/team-news-southampton-vs-leeds-premier-league-202122) problem in the first of two World Cup qualifiers against Israel.

The 25-year-old played [68](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/che-adams/nationalmannschaft/spieler/346779/verein_id/3380) minutes before being forced off and was sent home, missing the game against the Faroe Islands as a result.

Hasenhuttl [revealed](https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2021-10-14/team-news-southampton-vs-leeds-premier-league-202122) in his pre-match press conference that Adams would miss the game at St Mary’s against Marcelo Bielsa’s side, but was hopeful the forward won’t be out long term.

Adams has started [five](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/che-adams/leistungsdaten/spieler/346779) Premier League games so far this season, so his absence could open the door for loanee Armando Broja to make his [first](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/armando-broja/leistungsdaten/spieler/571743) league start.
