# Tottenham Hotspur: Daniel Levy open to Milan Skriniar swap deal involving Tanguy Ndombele

**According to a report by Tuttomercatoweb, via [Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/daniel-levy-not-willing-spend-e60m-tottenham-signing-swap-deal-likely/), Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy could be open to discussing a Tanguy Ndombele swap deal for Inter Milan colossus Milan Skriniar, despite claims from Fabrizio Romano that a transfer of that nature is [off the table.](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1308515248652144640)**

Skriniar, who was a mainstay for the Serie A giants last season during their ultimately unsuccessful title challenge, still proved to be a crucial figure in Antonio Conte’s quest to land a coveted domestic crown and break Juventus’ monopoly in the competition.

The Slovakian, averaging a [92% passing success rate out from the back](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/302918/History/Milan-Skriniar) over 2019/20, exemplified a cool head in the centre of defence – something that manager Jose Mourinho reportedly desires ahead of a gruelling and congested new Premier League season.

Standing at a lofty 6 ft 2, Skriniar also possesses the desired physical attributes, but Inter currently value his services at around [£54.7m](https://sportwitness.co.uk/daniel-levy-not-willing-spend-e60m-tottenham-signing-swap-deal-likely/) if a deal is to be done.

Romano reports that Spurs will not go that high, and as a result, Tuttomercatoweb claim that an Ndombele swap deal could be on the cards again in line with [previous rumours.](https://sempreinter.com/2020/08/19/inter-could-bring-in-top-midfielder-in-tanguy-ndombele-in-transfer-window/)

The [£98,000-a-week colossus](https://wageindicator.co.uk/pay/vip-celebrity-salary/Milan-Skriniar) is a wanted man at Tottenham, and despite Ndombele having the potential to be a ‘[nightmare](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1z_cpIqNdMo&t=1919s)‘ force for Spurs, the Italian news outlet are now hinting that Levy is open to offloading him if it results in a cut-price deal for Skriniar.

Of course, given that Levy will need to search for any possible way around paying the defender’s sky-high valuation, especially after a [plethora of summer deals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tottenham-hotspur/transfers/verein/148), offloading his 23-year-old [club record signing](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jul/02/tanguy-ndombele-tottenham-medical-lyon-roma-toby-alderweireld) to get it done would certainly be a statement of intent.
