# Tottenham: Spurs fans react to injury update on Harry Kane

**Tottenham fans react on Twitter as reports claim Harry Kane has completely recovered from his hamstring injury.**

When Harry Kane was forced off against Southampton, Spurs no doubt waited with baited breath to find out the extent of the damage. [Reports](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51055591) then emerged confirming the worst for the north London side, revealing that the England international would require surgery and that he would be out of action until April.

Since his injury, Spurs have struggled big-time in his absence. Their lack of a real back-up striker simply added to their woes, and it was no surprise that when football was postponed, the Lilywhites found themselves lagging in eighth place and [seven points](https://www.espn.co.uk/football/table/_/league/ENG.1) off that all-important fourth spot.

But what this enforced break has allowed for, is for players to recover in their own time and without missing any matches. And according to [talkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/697419/harry-kane-injury-update-tottenham-jose-mourinho/), Kane is in “full training again but is doing so in accordance with the government guidelines”.

After hearing about the update on their talisman, Spurs fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the situation.
