# Tottenham: Spurs fans discuss update on Thomas Meunier swoop

**Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter as reports claim Jose Mourinho has stepped up his interest in Thomas Meunier.**

The PSG defender’s contract at the Parc des Princes comes to an end this summer, and he looks set to finally be leaving the French giants when it expires.

Now, French publication L’Equipe (via [Get French Football News](https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2020/thomas-meunier-has-spoken-with-jose-mourinho-about-a-move-to-tottenham/)) have claimed Spurs boss Mourinho has told the right-back that he wants him to be a part of his first-team squad for next season, and that Meunier is close to being convinced about making the move to north London.

And after hearing about the latest update on their potential summer transfer target, Spurs fans flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts about Meunier’s possible arrival.
