### The Verdict: Make the move?

James was a mainstay for Leeds last season, playing the fifth-most minutes out of anyone in their squad and racking up their third-highest rate of shots at goal per 90 ([WhoScored).](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/19/Archive/England-Leeds)

While he attracted some criticism for his performances over that campaign, the 24-year-old is known for his[‘frightening’](https://www.footballinsider247.com/tottenham-news-hutton-cant-believe-sources-frightening-daniel-james-reveal/) pace which can be a nightmare for defenders.

At the very least, James could be of use for Conte as a rotational option and someone who can inject some much-needed energy late in tough games.
