There is also still over a month of this transfer market remaining with [links emerging](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/tottenham-transfer-rumours/spurs-news-roma-paratici-zaniolo-offer-thfc/) to the likes of Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo among others.

Pundits like Noel Whelan have branded Saint-Maximin ‘[pivotal’](https://www.footballinsider247.com/newcastle-united-news-expert-issues-allan-saint-maximin-transfer-claim-after-50m-update/) for the St. James’ Park side and an ‘[exciting](https://www.footballinsider247.com/newcastle-united-news-expert-issues-allan-saint-maximin-transfer-claim-after-50m-update/)‘ player – with ex-Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson weighing in and calling the winger ‘[perfect’](https://www.footballinsider247.com/tottenham-could-sign-perfect-steven-bergwijn-replacement-after-journalists-25-year-old-update-robinson/) for Conte.

While it remains to be seen whether Newcastle would part with their [Premier League](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league-news/) star so easily, there is little doubt he would be a world class addition at N17.
