**The Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern who’ve popped in for a drink after their hard days at work REALLY didn’t need the latest report to pop up and ruin their evenings.**

According to the [Daily Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-goalkeeper-hugo-lloris-turns-8095172), ‘keeper Hugo Lloris has rejected a new deal at White Hart Lane after conducting personal negotiations with chairman Daniel Levy.

The Frenchman has recently been [linked](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/inglaterra/mourinho-dibuja-nuevo-manchester-united-5151869) with a shock move to Manchester United and is understood to have snubbed the chance to extend his stay at White Hart Lane as things stand.

He is [believed](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-goalkeeper-hugo-lloris-turns-8095172) to want to enter the bracket of the best paid ‘keepers in the world after emerging as a vital figure for the North London outfit as they marched back into the Champions League this season.

While talks are [far from dead](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-goalkeeper-hugo-lloris-turns-8095172), the 29-year old has so far rejected the deal, meaning these could be nervy times for all involved at Tottenham.

Paris Saint-Germain are also [thought](https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/12/13/report-psg-willing-to-pay-hugo-lloris-200000-a-week/) to retain an interest in the former Lyon custodian, who left Ligue 1 in 2012 in order to move to the English capital.

**Is it vitally important that Spurs keep a hold of Lloris going forward?**
