The Scot is a talismanic figure who spearheads Sunderland’s attack superbly, using his physical prowess to devastating effect and proving to be ruthless in front of goal. If the Black Cats are to enjoy a successful first season back in the Championship, Stewart will need to take his League One form up a level – something that he will surely revel in doing.
