# Sunderland: Fans hammer Charlie Wyke

**Sunderland drew 1-1 with Hull City in League One on Saturday, and it is fair to say that the club’s fans were not happy with the performance of striker Charlie Wyke.**

The Black Cats have now failed to win any of their last [three](https://www.skysports.com/sunderland-results) games after their latest result. They actually went behind in this match too, with Reece Burke opening the scoring, but Aiden McGeady was on hand to bring the north-east side back to level terms.

A number of performances from Lee Johnson’s men were disappointing, but Wyke’s, in particular, left a lot to be desired. He completed just [56%](https://www.sofascore.com/hull-city-sunderland/QWb) of his passes, and won just one of his eight duels. If Sunderland are to get promoted back to the Championship as they desire, Wyke will need to improve.
