# Sunderland: Club’s fixture list prompts mixed reactions from Black Cats

**Sunderland shared their upcoming fixture list on Twitter which has prompted a mixture of reactions from several Black Cats.**

Phil Parkinson’s side currently lie in 7th place in League One, tied on 59 points with Peterborough United and Wycombe Wanderers, and line-up against Blackpool FC at Bloomfield Road on Saturday ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/afc-sunderland/startseite/verein/289/saison_id/2019)).

Sunderland have alternated between draws and losses for the last four games, including a 1-0 defeat by league leaders Coventry away at St Andrew’s ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/afc-sunderland/spielplandatum/verein/289)).

The Black Cats again failed to make a move on the automatic promotion places after losing to Bristol Rovers earlier this week.

However, there is still room for some hope as Sunderland have won on their last two visits to Blackpool, boasting a 1-0 victory on New Year’s Day 2019. The two sides drew earlier this season at the Stadium of Light, with Charlie Wyke scoring an equaliser and George Dobson being sent off ([WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1382056/Live/England-League-One-2019-2020-Sunderland-Blackpool)).

Check out some of the mixed reactions we found online…
