Sunderland have completed a deal for Tottenham Hotspur left-back Dennis Cirkin on a three-year contract.

Enjoying a productive 2020/21 campaign, the Dublin-born left-back registered two assists in 14 appearances for the Spurs Under-23’s set up [Transfermarkt].

Now, he has made a surprise move to the North-East following recent developments.

Positional counterpart Denver Hume’s future at Sunderland is now said to be unclear, owing to the move.
