# Surely these 2 West Ham players risk being sold this summer

**Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern will be hoping for a better season next season at the London Stadium after a typically topsy-turvy campaign under both Slaven Bilic and David Moyes.**

This season, for many of the Hammers fans in the bar, has been an overall disaster. The stadium move was supposed to signal a new start for the club but the Irons have largely struggled to adapt and it made matters worse by having to sack one of their fan favourites in Slaven Bilic.

West Ham have now turned to former Man United and Everton boss David Moyes in order to save their season and it seems, so far, the gamble is paying off, despite all the negativity upon his initial appointment way back in November.

Going into next season, however, there needs to be a huge shakeup at the club if the board want to avoid a repeat performance of this season. A few players may be on their way out of the London Stadium and our landlord takes a look at **TWO** in particular that could move on…

## Andy Carroll

The English striker is yet again injured for the Hammers and, obviously, this is not a one-off either. If West Ham are to move forward they need a striker that can find the net on a regular basis, and that means a regular starter. Though a popular figure amongst supporters, perhaps the former Newcastle and Liverpool man should be axed.

Much of Carrols’s career has been stop-start due to injuries, and the Hammers cannot rely on Carroll’s service all season, not helpful during a relegation fight.

## Pablo Zabaleta

The former Man City fan favourite moved to the Hammers in the summer on a free and has largely been a pretty good servant while clad in claret and blue. He brings with him experience that is much needed, however, the age of the right-back has led to teams targetting the Argentine defender.

Moyes next season should look to lower the average age of the back line, which a few seasons ago would have been full of life, running and pace but now resembles a retirement home on both flanks.
