# Swansea ready to approve exit of experienced forward today

![Eder](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/4655941-500x322.jpg)The Swansea City fans who have taken the day off work to enjoy a game of darts whilst watching Sky Sports News on deadline day have had their attentions attracted by a report that striker Eder could leave the club.

[Sky sources claim](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11731/10151375/lille-to-sign-swansea-striker-eder-on-loan-sky-sources-say) that the striker could be set to complete a loan switch to French outfit Lille.

The 28-year old only moved to the Liberty Stadium in July but has failed to score in 15 appearances this term.

The Portuguese forward, who has a three-year contract with the Swans, is now believed to be surplus to requirements at the Welsh club after Alberto Paloschi joined from Serie A side Chievo on Saturday.

And [reports suggest that Lille](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11731/10151375/lille-to-sign-swansea-striker-eder-on-loan-sky-sources-say), who are battling relegation in Ligue 1, have taken the lead in the race to sign Eder on loan until the end of the season.

**Swansea fans, would you mind if Eder left your club before the deadline closes? Let us know in the comments below!**
