The array of talent that Pep Guardiola has at his disposal is absolutely frightening.

Going forward especially, the depth of talent that City has is the best in the league and probably one of the best in Europe. Due to that, it's incredibly tough for young players to break into the side and as we have seen with Jadon Sancho, if you want to progress in your career, a move away is probably the best option.

According to Radio Marte via Sports Mole Oleksandr Zinchenko's agent has not only revealed that the midfielder was close to leaving the club but that he is also open to a switch in January.

 The Breakdown

Signed originally as a central midfielder from FC Ufa, Zinchenko has struggled to break into the first-team since his arrival at the club. The Ukranian managed to play eight games last season at left-back and although it wasn't his natural position, the 21-year-old played incredibly well.

With the return of Benjamin Mendy at left-back, Zinchenko has once again been relegated to the bench and with City's league of stars in midfield, it seems he doesn't have much of a chance to get into the side.

Despite barely playing for Pep, Zinchenko's talent is undeniable and he is more than ready to play consistent minutes at a Premier League side. With under two years left on his current deal, a move away makes sense for the youngster but from City's perspective, they're losing a brilliant player.

City fans, what do you think?
