Everton go into a big game against Arsenal today and need to get back to winning ways after a poor defeat to West Ham last weekend.

Amid a wave of new money, Everton spent heavily over the summer and brought in Barcelona players Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina and splashed out £40 million on Watford man, Richarlison.

Moreover, after trying to bring him to the club during the season, Everton finally got their man in Marco Silva. Despite finally getting their new manager, it hasn't been a great start to the season for the Toffees as they've won only one game in the league this season and currently sit 12th in the table.

It may only get even harder for Everton this season as according to The Sun, the Everton players are unhappy with the amount of training they are doing under Silva.

The Breakdown

According to the report, the players believe that they're doing too much work and preparation for upcoming games. While it remains to be seen how viable the report is, if true, it would be a terrible indictment of a squad that has been so poor this season. Such has been their relatively poor form that maybe the players are indeed failing to take in all the information from Silva.

The Portuguese manager is known for his tactical approach to games and if the players are struggling to take it on, it's only going to make their season harder than it actually is.

Everton fans, what do you think about Marco Silva?
