Leeds United picked up a crucial three points at the weekend to send them back to the top of the table after a run of fairly average poor form.

Following their loss to Birmingham City back in late September, Leeds went on a run of form that saw them only win two games over six games in the league. Not only did United go on a run of poor form but they also lost a host of players to injuries, notably Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi.

Roofe and Hernandez returned at the weekend and if Bielsa can get the rest of his players back over the next few weeks, Leeds could well become an incredibly dangerous prospect over the next month or so.

Unfortunately for Bielsa, however, the Argentine will be without summer arrival, Izzy Brown who will not return until the new year.

The Breakdown

Brown joined Leeds in the midst of recovering from an ACL injury and as of yet, he has not made an appearance for the Yorkshire side. With Leeds entering a crucial point in the season where they'll be asked to play a heavy amount of fixtures, the return of Brown in the new year could be a huge boost for Bielsa. Moreover, in the second-half of the season, Bielsa will need his whole squad available for the club's potential title run.

Leeds have suffered a spate of injuries recently and having Brown back in the New Year could be exactly the boost the side needs.
