Liverpool have made a strong start to the Premier League season and as it stands are living up to the hype as serious title-contenders under Jurgen Klopp.

At the moment, Liverpool still remain unbeaten in the league this year and the club's brilliant start to the season will have only pleased the fans who will be hoping that they can finally bring a Premier League title to Anfield.

They have, however, suffered a slight hiccup in form recently as they were beaten by Chelsea - who also held them to a draw in the league - in the EFL Cup and Napoli in the Champions League while also being held to a draw by City before the international break. During the Man City game, James Milner was forced off with an apparent hamstring problem but according to reports, the midfielder is ahead of schedule in his recovery.

The Breakdown

The report states that he could be back in full training by this Thursday which could put him in contention for a place in the side for Saturday's game against Huddersfield.

The 32-year-old has been superb so far this season and has played every game in the league this year.

The evergreen midfielder is arguably having his best season for the club and has been integral in their rise up the table. His experience, intelligence and energy in midfield has complimented perfectly with Wijnaldum in midfield and has provided some crucial balance to a side that likes to play at a high tempo. His early return is a huge plus for Klopp.
