Despite bringing in five new players over the summer, Arsenal still need to add some quality in January, specifically in midfield and on the wings.

While Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has put in some good performances while being played out of his favoured position, Arsenal lack a winger that is direct and can take on defenders in one on one situations.

Aside from Aubameyang, Unai Emery has decided to play Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan on the wings and at times, Alex Iwobi. While all three do an adequate job, none of them possesses the ability to drive Arsenal into the final third. With that in mind, the Mirror is reporting that the Gunners are tracking Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr, who's been likened to Ousmane Dembele.

The Breakdown

The 20-year-old sensation is yet another young talent to begin to make his name in Ligue 1 and was most recently a star for Senegal during their World Cup campaign.

Since making the move to Rennes last season, Sarr has established himself as one of the best young talents in Europe and scored five goals to go with five assists in the league last year. So far this season he has already scored twice in the league and most recently scored an incredible goal against Jablonec in the Europa League.

Capable of taking on players at pace and also contributing in the final third, Sarr would be a good addition to the Gunners who are crying out for a natural winger.
