Leeds United need to sign some players next month. Marcelo Bielsa's side has been decimated by injuries of late and with that in mind, the club must bring in some new players in January.

Although Bielsa's side has been hit by a raft of injuries over the last few months, the Argentine has managed to keep the club near the top of the table and as it stands, they sit first following Norwich's draw with Bristol City.

The Yorkshire side are on a five-game winning streak and have also managed to keep five clean sheets in that run. Unfortunately for the club, Samu Saiz is leaving next month and despite his poor form, Leeds are losing an incredibly talented player.

According to The Sun, Leeds are targeting a move for Brentford midfielder Lewis Macleod, who has impressed for Brentford this season.

The Breakdown

The midfielder joined the west London side in 2015 and is having a breakout season for the club this year. He's scored three goals in 16 games for Brentford while also grabbing two assists.

He doesn't have the same ability as Saiz when he has the ball at his feet but he's great at getting forward and would be a good fit in Bielsa's dynamic and aggressive side. Moreover, with Brentford descending down the table and Leeds in need of a player to add some more depth to the midfield, it could be a deal that the Yorkshire side could actually pull off.
