Everton finally got their man over the summer as after a fairly tumultuous courtship, Silva arrived at Goodison Park.

The Watford boss was heavily backed in the transfer market as Everton brought in Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes, Lucas Digne and Richarlison. Mina has struggled with injuries but the other new signings have all made a serious impact on the side.

Recently, Richarlison has been played through the middle and although he's shown flashes of potential as a striker, the forward has struggled to score goals. Silva only has Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Cenk Tosun and Oumar Niasse as his only viable strikers up front and in truth, none of them are good enough.

If Silva is going to persist with Richarlison up front, he needs to find someone to not only back him up but also be able to play on the wing.

With that in mind, the Liverpool Echo is reporting that Everton are scouting Bordeaux pair, Samuel Kalu and Francois Kamano.

The Breakdown

Both players are both natural dynamic wingers who love to drive at the opposition and take them on in one on one situations. While Kalu has shown plenty of potential on the flank and has impressed during his nine appearances in the league, Kamano has been the one to steal the show so far for Bordeaux.

Playing mostly on the left-hand side, the 22-year-old has scored seven goals in 11 games in the league and has arguably been the club's best player.

While Bernard looks like an astute piece of business on the left, having one of Kamano or Kalu on the wings would give Everton some crucial attacking depth.
