Both Chelsea and Liverpool have made a superb start to the season and remain part of the three sides that are unbeaten in the league this year.

Impressively, Liverpool are yet to drop any points in the Premier League this year but go into this weekend's game following a disappointing loss to the Blues in the EFL Cup in midweek.

Thanks to a wonder goal from Eden Hazard, Chelsea came back from a 1-0 down to proceed to the next round. Liverpool now go into a massive game on Saturday to try and maintain their winning run but according to Read Chelsea, Virgil Van Dijk, James Milner and Sadio Mane all missed training on Thursday.

The Breakdown

Van Dijk missed the cup clash in midweek and was forced off with a rib injury against Southampton at the weekend. If he were to miss Saturday's game it would be a huge blow for Klopp, as he and Gomez have formed a superb partnership at the back.

Mane and Milner both featured against Chelsea, and might have been rested ahead of tomorrow's game. Milner has arguably been the club's best player but if he isn't able to play, Klopp could still call on Naby Keita. Likewise, Mane has made a good start this season and his absence could just be precautionary.

Klopp will be hoping that all three are fit and firing for tomorrow's match as although it's early in the season, to beat a title rival would be a huge mental boost.
