Marcelo Bielsa must start Adam Forshaw this weekend

It’s going to be an incredibly competitive Championship table this season as there are at least five teams that could realistically win the title. Under Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds United remain one of the sides that could gain promotion and at the moment, the Yorkshire side sits second in the table.

United had made an incredible start to the season but due to a host of injuries, Leeds’ form dropped and following a loss to Birmingham City, have only won two of their last six games.

They were recently held to a 1-1 draw by Nottingham Forest and have no out and out left back and have also lost Luke Ayling to injury.

The former Bristol City man has been one of Bielsa’s key players this season and will be a huge loss, however in his absence, Leeds welcomed back Adam Forshaw at the weekend. The midfielder made his first start of the season and was heavily praised by Bielsa.

With Samu Saiz out of form, Forshaw must start against Wigan this weekend.

The Breakdown

During Leeds’ superb start to the season, Adam Forshaw was a mere spectator as he worked to get back to fitness following his injury.

With his return, Bielsa has in his hands a superb midfielder who although isn’t as good a dribbler as the out of form Samu Saiz, is brilliant technically and must start this weekend.

The 27-year-old is a brilliant player and Bielsa should play him once again this weekend.
